Need for speed

Hi there, I am back today to share the cards we made in our Friday afternoon card class.

I have had a lot of requests for mens cards,  I, like many others, find designing mens cards quite challenging, one of the reasons is  I feel I cannot embellish them with  flowers or butterflies but they still need to be decorative.

I used Need for Speed stamp set and designed the following with men in mind.
One of the trees from Lovely as a tree stamp set was stamped in Crumb cake for the background .

The car was stamped in black stazon on a separate piece of very vanilla card, coloured with watercolour pencils, cut out and put on top with dimensionals

The cloud background was created by punching out a scallop circle in card. We used the scallop circle as a template and sponged around the sides with bashful blue all over the whisper white card to create the clouds. The aeroplane was stamped directly onto the whisper white card with black stazon and again coloured in with watercolour pencils.

Supplies Used: (All Stampin Up! Unless Otherwise Stated)
