cracker gifts

Hi everyone!

These are the table favours which I made for my family  for our  Christmas Day Lunch. Each cracker had a Lindt chocolate bear placed inside.  I originally saw the crackers at Convention in November and were inspired by them.

The crackers were very easy to make with the new Stampin' Up! Envelope Punch Board!  I had purchased one of these a few weeks ago and couldn't wait to play with it.  The envelope punch board really is a versatile piece of equipment. The board can be used not only to make envelopes, but also boxes in a variety of shapes and sizes and other 3D items such as crackers.

Each cracker is made from a single sheet of one of the papers from the designer series paper stacks.  I chose two different patterns from the 'Winter Frost'  Each sheet measures 4.5"x6.5".

The scoring measurements are: 1", 2", 3" and 4" on the short side, and 1", 1.5", 2", 4.5", 5" and 5"5 on the long side.

Simply score, punch with the envelope punch board and stick.

You can make a cracker in just a couple of minutes. I decorated mine with some silver ribbon and embossed die cut snowflakes using the Festive Flurry Stamps in Coastal Cabana ink

As well as using the crackers for table favours, they could also be given as special gifts. Items such as make-up and jewellery could be hidden inside
